Modern Slavery Statement
TravelOne's commitment to combating modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains.
Last Updated: April 1, 2026
1. Introduction
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and applicable Canadian supply chain transparency legislation, and constitutes TravelOne's Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement for the financial year ending December 31, 2025.
TravelOne Technologies Inc. and TravelOne Global Travel Services LLC are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. We are committed to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.
Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes many forms, including slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, and human trafficking. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in all its forms.
2. Our Business & Supply Chains
TravelOne is a travel technology and advisory company headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with operations in Virginia, United States. We provide AI-driven travel personalisation services to individual travellers, travel advisors, and corporate clients globally.
Our supply chain includes: cloud infrastructure providers (Amazon Web Services), payment processing providers (Stripe), software development tools and services, travel suppliers (hotels, airlines, tour operators, ground transportation providers, experience providers), and professional services providers (legal, accounting, marketing).
The travel industry is recognised as a sector with elevated risk of exposure to modern slavery, particularly in destination countries with weaker labour protections. We take this risk seriously and have implemented measures to address it in our supplier selection and management processes.
3. Policies
TravelOne maintains the following policies that support our commitment to combating modern slavery: (1) Supplier Code of Conduct — all suppliers are required to comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct, which includes explicit prohibitions on forced labour, child labour, and human trafficking; (2) Whistleblowing Policy — employees and contractors can report concerns about modern slavery without fear of retaliation; (3) Recruitment Policy — we use only reputable recruitment agencies and verify that all workers have the right to work in their jurisdiction.
Our Supplier Code of Conduct requires suppliers to: pay at least the applicable minimum wage; not use forced, compulsory, or trafficked labour; not employ children below the minimum working age; provide safe and healthy working conditions; and allow workers to freely associate and collectively bargain.
4. Due Diligence
We undertake the following due diligence processes in relation to modern slavery: (1) Supplier onboarding — all new suppliers are required to complete a supplier questionnaire that includes questions about their labour practices and modern slavery controls; (2) Destination risk assessment — we assess the modern slavery risk profile of destination countries when selecting and managing travel suppliers; (3) Periodic supplier audits — high-risk suppliers are subject to periodic audits or third-party assessments of their labour practices.
We prioritise suppliers who hold recognised certifications demonstrating ethical labour practices, such as Fair Trade, B Corp, or equivalent certifications. We give preference to accommodation and experience providers who are members of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) or equivalent bodies.
5. Risk Assessment
We have assessed our modern slavery risk as follows: (1) Direct operations — Low risk. TravelOne is a small technology company with a highly skilled workforce in Canada and the USA. All employees are paid above minimum wage and have full employment rights. (2) Technology supply chain — Low to medium risk. Our primary technology suppliers (AWS, Stripe) are large, publicly listed companies with robust modern slavery programmes. (3) Travel supply chain — Medium to high risk in certain destination markets. We have implemented enhanced due diligence for suppliers in higher-risk destinations.
We recognise that our risk assessment is not exhaustive and that modern slavery can occur in unexpected places. We are committed to continuous improvement of our risk assessment processes.
6. Training & Awareness
All TravelOne employees and contractors receive training on modern slavery awareness as part of their onboarding. This training covers: how to recognise signs of modern slavery; our reporting procedures; and our Supplier Code of Conduct.
Our travel advisors receive additional training on identifying and responding to potential modern slavery situations in destination markets, including how to support travellers who may encounter or witness such situations.
7. Reporting & Whistleblowing
If you have concerns about modern slavery in TravelOne's operations or supply chain, please report them to ethics@traveloneglobal.com. Reports can be made anonymously. All reports are investigated promptly and confidentially.
If you are a traveller who has witnessed or encountered a potential modern slavery situation, please contact the relevant local authorities and, if appropriate, the national human trafficking hotline in the country you are visiting. In the USA, contact the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888. In Canada, contact the Canadian Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-833-900-1010.
8. Approval
This statement has been approved by the Board of Directors of TravelOne Technologies Inc. and is reviewed annually.
