Manage My Travel DNA
Your complete guide to accessing, updating, and managing your Traveler DNA profile and personal data.
Last Updated: April 1, 2026
1. Your DNA Profile
Your Traveler DNA profile is your personal travel intelligence asset. It is generated from your responses to the 10-question diagnostic and refined over time through your travel history, feedback, and recalibrations. Your profile belongs to you.
Your DNA profile includes: your 30-marker score breakdown, your Traveller Archetype classification, your destination alignment scores, your accommodation and experience preferences, and your travel history (if entered). On paid plans, it also includes AI-generated itinerary recommendations and advisor notes.
You can view your full DNA profile at any time by logging in to your DNA Dashboard at traveloneglobal.com/manage-dna.
2. Accessing Your Data
You have the right to access all personal data that TravelOne holds about you. To request a full data export, log in to your DNA Dashboard and navigate to Account Settings > Data & Privacy > Download My Data. Your data will be compiled and delivered to your registered email address within 30 days.
The data export includes: your account information (name, email, phone), your quiz responses and DNA profile, your itinerary history, your communication history with TravelOne advisors, and your billing history (excluding full payment card details).
If you are unable to access your account, contact privacy@traveloneglobal.com with the subject "Data Access Request" and we will process your request within 30 days.
3. Updating Your Profile
You can update your personal information (name, email, phone, address) at any time from your DNA Dashboard under Account Settings > Profile.
To recalibrate your DNA profile, navigate to DNA Dashboard > My DNA > Recalibrate. You can retake the full 10-question diagnostic or answer targeted recalibration questions that update specific markers without a full retake. Free plan users can recalibrate once every 6 months. Paid plan users can recalibrate at any time.
If you believe your DNA Report contains inaccurate information, you can flag specific sections for review from within the report. Our team will review flagged sections within 5 business days.
4. Deleting Your Data
You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated personal data. To submit a deletion request, navigate to DNA Dashboard > Account Settings > Data & Privacy > Delete My Account, or email privacy@traveloneglobal.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request".
Deletion is processed within 30 days of your request. You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete. Note that once deleted, your DNA profile and report cannot be recovered.
Some data may be retained after deletion where required by law (e.g., billing records for tax compliance purposes) or where it has been anonymised and aggregated in a way that cannot be linked back to you individually. Retained data is described in our Privacy & Data Asset Policy.
5. Correcting Your Data
If you believe any personal data TravelOne holds about you is inaccurate, you have the right to request correction. Contact privacy@traveloneglobal.com with the subject "Data Correction Request" and specify what data is incorrect and what the correct information should be.
We will process correction requests within 30 days. If we are unable to make the correction you have requested (for example, because it would conflict with legal requirements), we will explain why.
6. Restricting Processing
You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances — for example, while we investigate a correction request, or while you contest the legal basis for our processing.
To request restriction of processing, contact privacy@traveloneglobal.com with the subject "Restriction Request". We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and confirm the restriction within 30 days.
7. Data Portability
You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (JSON or CSV), and to transmit that data to another service provider.
To request a portable data export, navigate to DNA Dashboard > Account Settings > Data & Privacy > Export My Data (Portable Format), or email privacy@traveloneglobal.com with the subject "Portable Data Export Request". Your data will be delivered within 30 days.
8. Opting Out of Marketing
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in any marketing email, or by navigating to DNA Dashboard > Account Settings > Notifications > Marketing Preferences.
Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional communications (e.g., booking confirmations, account notifications, security alerts). These are necessary for the operation of your account and cannot be disabled.
9. Contact for Data Rights
For all data rights requests, contact: privacy@traveloneglobal.com. For GDPR-specific requests, contact: dpo@traveloneglobal.com.
If you are not satisfied with our response to a data rights request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority in your jurisdiction: in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada; in the EU/EEA, your national data protection authority; in Virginia (USA), the Virginia Attorney General.
